What is Hot Yoga?

Hot Yoga studios are heated to between 95 and 105 degrees. The aim of this type of yoga is to use the heat to get deeper into the poses and flush out toxins. Hot Yoga classes can be fast or slow although generally they tend towards vinyasa flow style sequences. Hot Yoga options include Bikram, Moksha and Baptiste Power Yoga. 

Hot Yoga is a great style of yoga to choose if you want to make your muscles more limber, because in the heat, your muscles are easier to move and stretch, which means you can hold poses easier and makes you more flexible. Since your muscles are already warmed up, it will take less time to less warm-up in Hot Yoga classes.
