What is Viniyoga?
“Vini” is a Sanskrit term, which loosely translated means “adaption”. Son of yoga legend Sri T. Krishnamacharya, T.K.V Desikachar studied with his father for almost 30 years. His approach, sometimes called Desikachar Yoga, sometimes called Viniyoga, is a type of yoga that combines yoga poses, breathing exercises and meditation according to the needs of the individual, to fit their limits, and goals.
Because Viniyoga is adapted to its students, it is a recommended yoga style for beginners and advanced yogis alike.
