This mantra invokes the divine energy of Ganesha.
It is renowned for attaining wisdom, knowledge, removing internal and external obstacles, and giving prosperity, grace and compassion.
Meaning of the syllables:
- Om – The universal sound that sustains life
- Gun – The seed ‘bija’ sound of Ganesha
- Ganapataye – The remover of obstacles
- Na – The Lord’s concealing grace
- Mah – The world
